What does it mean to be brave? How important is it that others see you being brave? Being brave encompasses so many thoughts, feelings, and actions, and it’s difficult to define it with words. Part of being brave is listening to your inner wisdom as you forge your trail courageously through life.

This episode, our 200th, is dedicated to the brave women in my life: my mother and my grandmother, who just recently passed away. My grandmother was an artist, teacher, and mentor who was endlessly supportive of everyone in her family and the others whom she touched with her inspirational and creative life. Although my mother passed away several years ago, she is the one who led me into podcasting. She had her own organic gardening radio show for 10 years every Saturday morning, and this was WAY before the days of podcasts. I’m grateful for the roles these women have played in inspiring me and teaching me about being brave in an ever-changing world. Now, I get the chance to pass along what I’ve learned.
